Dr. Tom Wilson
Cardiologist
As an interventional cardiologist, I specialize in coronary artery, structural heart, and peripheral vascular disease. I am a strong advocate for image-guided coronary and peripheral vascular interventions and also focus on atrial septal defect (ASD) and patent foramen ovale (PFO) closure.
My approach to patient care is simple. I aim to provide excellent specialty care, making certain that my patients understand their cardiovascular health concerns, and leave the consultation with a plan of action going forward. I believe patients must participate in shared decision-making in order to make appropriate and fully informed medical decisions.
Fun note: I was born in Appleton and graduated from Xavier High School. In my free time, I enjoy golfing with friends and family, traveling with my wife, boating in Door County, and watching the Packers compete for a Super Bowl title. As a licensed pilot, my wife and I enjoy flying a Cirrus SR-22 airplane.
