Dr. Peter Ackell

Interventional Cardiologist

I want to help people. Although I believe patients are ultimately in control of their own health, I want to be able to provide the technical skills and expertise to help them do that. After a patient and their family has seen me, I want them to feel better about their situation.

I specialize in interventional cardiology. Heart care requires a team effort and I’m happy to be surrounded by a highly skilled, dedicated and kind group of providers.

I have four children who are spread across the US. I like to bike, travel, golf, kayak, hike and play tennis. I absolutely love my seven-year-old black lab; I’m hoping to add another one to the family this summer! I’m also an avid spectator of the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Milwaukee Bucks, Wisconsin Badgers and the University of Virginia Cavaliers.

Fun note: I’m originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
