Dr. Li Zhou

Cardiac Electrophysiologist

I’ve been a cardiologist in the Fox Valley since 2006. My professional focus is treating heart rhythm disorders with medications, electrical cardioversions, pacemakers, defibrillators, intracardiac mappings and catheter ablations (including atrial fibrillation ablations). I first came to the Midwest for a cardiology fellowship, and subspecialty training in Cardiac Electrophysiology, at the University of Iowa and have since served patients in the Fox Valley for over 12 years. I hold board certifications in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

My favorite part about being a physician is the relationships I build with patients and their families, who are equally important in the medical decision-making process.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two children, and our lovely labradoodle, with whom we love to go on walks. In my free time, I like to visit with family and friends, travel and cheer on his two favorite teams, FC Barcelona and the Packers.

Fun note: I’m fluent in Chinese.
